Strikz Entertainment – Homeschool Bowl
Date: Friday, October 3
Time: Until 4:00 p.m.
Cost: Half off regular price
Location: Frisco
Description: A special “Homeschool Special” where homeschool families can enjoy half-price bowling from open until 4 pm. It’s a chance to get together, be active, and have fun outside the classroom.

Arlington Skatium – Homeschool Skate
Date: Friday, October 3
Time: 12:00–3:00 p.m.
Cost: $10/person (includes admission + basic or inline skate rental)
Location: Arlington
Description: A skate event where homeschool students can enjoy roller or inline skating. Great for social fun and physical activity.

Dyno Rock – Homeschool Climb
Date: Every Friday
Time: 12:00–4:00 p.m.
Cost: $10/person (includes day pass + gear)
Location: Arlington
Description: Indoor climbing session for homeschool students and parents. Build strength, confidence, and teamwork while learning climbing safety.

Fort Worth Zoo – Homeschool Classes
Dates: Mondays, October 6 & 20
Time: 1:15–3:45 p.m.
Cost: $40/child
Location: Fort Worth
Description: Classes include live animal presentations and themed art and science lessons. October topics include Sights of Elephant Springs and Sounds of Elephant Springs.

Dallas Holocaust & Human Rights Museum – Homeschool Day
Date: Tuesday, October 7
Time: 9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Cost: $15/participant
Location: Dallas
Description: Includes a tour of the permanent exhibition, a Dimensions in Testimony experience, and interactive age-appropriate classroom programs.

Heritage Farmstead Museum – Life on the Blackland Prairie Past & Present
Date: Wednesday, October 8
Time: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Cost: $5/adult, $12/child
Location: Plano
Description: A hands-on farm experience where kids can try chores like feeding animals, plowing, and even “milking” a mechanical cow. Families can enjoy wagon rides, scavenger hunts, and picnics.

Blackland Prairie Raptor Center – All About Owls
Date: Thursday, October 9
Time: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Cost: $12/adult, $9/child
Location: Allen
Description: Explore the fascinating world of owls with a live raptor program, nature hikes, art activities, and outdoor investigations.

Nash Farm – Homeschool Days

Description: Join the Nash farmhands for chores, learn about pioneer life, and enjoy exploring a working historic farm.

Sci-Tech Discovery Center – Homeschool STEAM Lab

Location: Frisco
Description: Hands-on STEAM labs aligned with TEKS where students work in pairs or small teams. October sessions highlight National Chemistry Week and engineering concepts.

Dallas Zoo – Homeschool Day
Date: Tuesday, October 14

Cost: $12/person (free for Dallas Zoo members)

Description: A day dedicated to homeschoolers with zoo-wide access and activities designed for learning about animals, habitats, and conservation.

Trinity River Audubon – Homeschool Days
