Fort Worth Zoo – Homeschool Class: Sights and Sounds of Conservation

Texas Discovery Gardens – Homeschool Day: Science of Hot Chocolate

We’ll dive into the science behind hot chocolate-from solubility and mixtures to temperature and states of matter. We’ll turn your favorite winter treat into a tasty science experiment!
Lake Mineral Wells State Park – Homeschool Habitat Hike

A nature hike focused on wildlife and habitats. Families should dress for the weather and bring water.
KidZania Dallas – Homeschool Day
Dates: Fridays, December 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th
Cost: $21 per child, $15 per adult
Location: Stonebriar Centre, Frisco
Description:
A hands-on, career-based learning experience where kids explore real-world jobs through role-play. Special homeschool pricing every Friday.
Slick City – Homeschool Social

Dallas Arboretum – Homeschool Learning Day: Electricity in the Garden

Description:
Students learn how electrical energy flows through circuits, then complete a scavenger hunt to find examples throughout the Holiday at the Arboretum display.
Dallas Holocaust & Human Rights Museum – Winter Homeschool Day

Meadows Museum – Preschool Playdate: Geometric Portraits

Location: Meadows Museum at SMU, Dallas
Description:
A creative early childhood program for ages 2–5 that takes place before the museum opens. Families enjoy songs and story time led by Highland Park Library, explore a featured artwork, and try a hands-on art-making activity inspired by geometric portraits. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and both adults and children must register.
Blackland Prairie Raptor Center – Homeschool Day: Careers with Animals
Date: Friday, December 12

Description:
Take flight with the Blackland Prairie Raptor Center and learn all about falcons and other high-flying raptors. The program includes a live bird presentation, guided nature hikes, and interactive learning activities for all ages.
Cinnamon Creek Ranch – Homeschool Archery (SOLD OUT)

Description:
Homeschool families can sign up for a fun archery class with no long-term commitment. Kids ages 6 and up will learn the basics of holding a bow, aiming, and hitting the target while working with an instructor. All equipment is included.
