Fort Worth Zoo – Sights of Texas Wild!

Date: Monday, March 2, 2026
Time: 1:15–3:45 p.m.
Cost: $40 per student | Zoo members receive 10% discount
Location: Fort Worth
Description: Designed for homeschool students ages 6–11, this class explores the Brush Country and Mountains & Desert regions of Texas through themed art and science lessons and a live animal presentation.


Sci-Tech Discovery Center – Homeschool STEAM Lab: Science of Art – Solar Snapshots

Date: Tuesday, March 3, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. (PK4–K & Grades 3–5) | 11:00 a.m. (Grades 1–2 & Grades 6–8)
Cost: $26 member | $28 nonmember (single session) 
Location: Frisco
Description: Homeschool students participate in TEKS-aligned, hands-on STEAM learning in grade-level groups. Museum admission is included.


Dallas Zoo – Homeschool Day

Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2026
Time: 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Cost: $12 public | Free for members | Parking $14 (free for members) | Children 2 and under free
Location: Dallas
Description: Students become Animal Detectives as they explore how scientists and conservationists use clues like tracks, bones, and habitats to understand wildlife. Includes Wild Encounters, Keeper Chats, Career Chats, and interactive partner tables. Pre-registration required.


Heritage Farmstead Museum – Homeschool Day: Farmstead Day

Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. (Farm open until 1:00 p.m.)
Cost: $5/ adults, $12/kids
Location: Plano
Description: Students step back in time to experience life as early settlers building and living on a Texas farmstead. Activities include hands-on farm chores, meeting farm animals, touring the historic 1891 Wilson House, and wagon rides. Events are held rain or shine. Pre-registration required.


Texas Discovery Gardens – Tree Story

Date: Thursday, March 5, 2026
Time: 1:00–3:00 p.m.
Cost: $12 adult | $6 child | Members free
Location: Dallas
Description: Students explore tree habitats layer by layer, discovering the ecosystems trees support and the vital role they play in the environment. Included with general admission.


Strikz Family Entertainment – Homeschool Discount

Date: Friday, March 6, 2026
Time: Open–4:00 p.m.
Cost: Half-price bowling
Location: Frisco
Description: On the first Friday of every month, enjoy half-price bowling from open until 4:00 p.m.

 

KidZania Dallas – Homeschool Day

Dates: Fridays, December 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th
Cost: $22 per child, $15 per adult
Location: Stonebriar Centre, Frisco
Description:
A hands-on, career-based learning experience where kids explore real-world jobs through role-play. Special homeschool pricing every Friday.


Slick City – Homeschool Social

Fort Worth Museum of Science and History – Homeschool Family Science Club: Energy Explorers

Blackland Prairie Raptor Center – Homeschool Day: Pond Safari

Cost: $5 per participant | Free for SMU students and Meadows Museum members (Individual level and above)

Description: Participants explore portrait art and create their own self-portraits using printmaking techniques. Designed for ages 8 and up. Not a drop-off program; adult registration required.
